WITH THE KENNEL CLUB GENETICS CENTRE:
The Kennel Club and AHT since 2009 have focussed on helping dog breeders to
reduce inherrited desease from their breeds. 5 different mutations associated with diseases in 20 breeds of dogs have been
identified, and our beloved Yorkshire Terrier are in one of those 20 breeds who have been highlighted. So please take the
time to read this report, there should be no excuse for ignorance regarding deseases in our dogs. Are we to be simply "a
person who mates our dogs" or are we "Breeders of Dogs"!
